n or pre-cool concentrated solution). The ACH line has an operating capacity range of 1-1200 kW.
Media within the units flows in channels formed between the corrugated plates and corner points in an arrangement that uses counter-current flow patterns. When used as an evaporator, the evaporation process occurs within the channels; some degree of superheating is required, meaning dry expansion takes place. When used as a condenser, main components are identical to evaporator configurations, with sub-cooling occurring during process. Single-pass configurations result in all connections being located on a single side of the unit, making it easy to install.
